Freshman (2023): Grubisic Cabo played her freshman season at the University of Maryland Baltimore County where she started all 25 matches for the Retrievers last year. She averaged 2.11 kills and 2.64 digs per set to earn America East All-Rookie Team honors. She had five double-doubles as a freshman, her first coming with 11 kills and 11 digs against High Point. Two weeks later she put up a career high 17 kill, 12 dig performance in a win over Princeton and two days later had 16 kills and 12 digs against the ACC's Virginia. Grubisic Cabo helped UMBC to an America East Championship with 11 kills in the tournament final against Binghamton to earn before starting against USC in the 2023 NCAA Tournament first round.
High School: Grubisic Cabo attended Druga Gimnazija Maribor where she was the MVP of the 2023 Slovenian U19 Nationals.
Personal: Born May 11, 2004. There are no shortage of athletes in her family as her mother Alenka is a former captain of the Slovenian National team while her father Robert holds multiple records as a Yugoslavian Swimmer. Her sister Barbara played Volleyball at Eastern Florida State before moving on to play at Alcorn State University.
