Brandalise Earns FCSAA Setter of the Week Honors For Fifth Time

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.- Another week, another award for Florida SouthWestern setter Camilla Brandalise who has been named the FCSAA Setter of the Week for the fifth time this season as announced by the State on Tuesday.

Brandalise led FSW to three straight Citrus Conference road wins last week, dishing out 8.67 assists per set while leading the Bucs to a .331 team hitting percentage. She started the week on Monday against #13 Eastern Florida, dishing out 22 assists in a 3-0 FSW sweep.  Her best game of the week came on Wednesday when she racked up 36 assists while helping the Bucs to a .420 team hitting mark in a win over Santa Fe. Saturday she wrapped up the week with 20 more assists as FSW got past #16 Daytona State 3-0 on the road in Daytona Beach.

Brandalise leads all FCSAA setters and ranks 6th Nationally averaging 9.09 assists per set for the Bucs while also leading FSW to the second best team hitting percentage in the country at .314. 

Brandalise was joined by teammate Julija Grubisic Cabo on the Player of the Week podium this week as Grubisic Cabo earned her fourth Offensive Player of the Week honors of the year.

Brandalise and the Bucs are back in action on Wednesday in a National Championship Game rematch when #2 FSW hosts #1 Miami Dade at 6 PM in Citrus Conference action at Suncoast Credit Union Arena in Fort Myers.
