Freshman (2022): Purashaj had a monster freshman season for FSW, quarterbacking the Bucs to their first NJCAA National Championship in program history in the process. She was a 2nd Team NJCAA All-American after putting up 9.60 assists per set while orchestrating the Nation's top offense with 13.58 kills per set and a .282 team hitting percentage. Her 874 total assists in 2022 were second most in single season program history. She had 14 games of 30 or more assists as a freshman including a program record 60 assist contest in FSW's season opening win over Trinity Valley which earned her NJCAA National Player of the Week honors. Purashaj was outstanding during FSW's march through the postseason as she averaged nearly 10 assists per set including a 34 assist/11 dig double-double in the Bucs National Championship Game victory over Miami Dade to earn her All-Tournament Team honors. Purashaj was also named the Suncoast Conference Freshman of the Year, a 1st Team FCSAA All-State, and 1st Team All-Suncoast Conference selection as a freshman.
High School: Purashaj joined fellow Italian Arianna Rossi on the Bucs roster in 2022, coming to FSW from Milan where she attended ITCG Carlo Matteucci High School.
Personal: Born January 4, 2003, she is the daughter of Prele and Vjollca Purashaj. She has one sister, Romina (27).
