The #3 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers won a Conference Championship in the third different conference in the past three seasons on Saturday afternoon at Buccaneers Park in Fort Myers, sweeping the Polk State Eagles to give the Bucs their eighth consecutive Conference Title overall and their first in the inaugural year of the Citrus Conference.

The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers made three errors, costing them five unearned runs in an 8-4 loss to the Polk State Eagles Thursday afternoon at Buccaneers Park in Fort Myers. The defeat puts the Bucs hopes for a Citrus Conference Championship on life support, but on the positive side, a Miami Dade loss to Eastern Florida locks up no worse than a second place finish for the Purple and Aqua with two games left to go.
#3 FSW Splits With #4 Indian River to Claim 50th Win
For the second time during the 2024 regular season, the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers and the Indian River Pioneers collided in an NJCAA Top 5 matchup Tuesday afternoon in Fort Pierce and for the second time the showdown ended in a split as #4 Indian River took game one 8-5 before #3 FSW captured game two 7-3 for their 50th win of the season. The Bucs reach the 50 win mark for the seventh time in eight complete seasons since their inception in 2016.
