Winners of 11 Straight, Bucs Remain at #3 in National Poll

CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The red hot Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers remained at #3 in the NJCAA National Rankings on Monday, marking the 85th consecutive week the Bucs have garnered a top five nod.

The Bucs went a perfect 4-0 last week including a pair of run rule victories to improve to 49-5 overall on the season.  FSW has now won 11 straight and 19 of their last 20 going into the final week of the 2024 regular season.

There was no change in the Top 10 teams in the week with McLennan, Northwest Florida, and FSW continuing to lead the pack with Indian River and Temple right behind them.  Including Northwest, FSW, and Indian River at #2, #3, and #4, Central Florida at #9, Gulf Coast at #11, and Santa Fe at #20 gave the FCSAA six teams in the Top 20 in week nine.

The Bucs have four more regular season games before the start of the postseason.  Tuesday's matchup is a big one as they tangle with #4 Indian River in Fort Pierce potentially with the Citrus Conference Championship hanging in the balance.
