Former Buccaneers Named To New Zealand National Team
June 07, 2018The New Zealand White Sox Softball World Championship team will have plenty of FSW representation. The White Sox announced the full squad on Tuesday (June 5) and former FSW softball standouts and New Zealand natives Courtney Gettins (Univ. of Alabama), Mikayla Werahiko (Univ. of Maryland) and Mereana Makea have been named to the team. -

May 15, 2018The two-time defending FCSAA/Region 8 State Champion (2017, 2018) Florida SouthWestern State College softball team, the No. 1 overall seed, is set to kickoff play in the 16-team, double-elimination National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) National Tournament. The Buccaneers, who hold a 51-3 record on a season, will face No. 16 South Georgia State (33-16) in first round action on Wednesday, May 16 at 7:00 p.m. ET in St. George, Utah at the Canyons Complex. -

May 01, 2018The three-time Suncoast Conference Champion (2016, 2017, 2018) Florida SouthWestern State College softball team begins postseason play on Thursday, May 3 at the NJCAA Region 8/FCSAA State Softball Tournament at Boombah Soldiers Creek Park (Longwood, Fla.). The Buccaneers' first round matchup with Pensacola State (28-22, 10-10) is set for a 10 a.m. start. FSW will then play the winner/loser of the Indian River State and Seminole State matchup on Friday, May 4. -

No. 1 #FSWSoftball Set To Host Friendly With Chinese National Team On Monday
April 27, 2018The No. 1 nationally-ranked FSW softball team will host the Chinese National team in an exhibition doubleheader on Monday, April 30 (4pm and 6pm) at City of Palms Park. The Buccaneers swept a doubleheader with the Chinese National team in Vero Beach on Thursday (April 26), defeating the squad 2-1 in game one and 5-3 in game two. -
