Bucs Infielder Signs With Lions

FORT MYERS, Fla.- Florida SouthWestern infielder Luca Danos will be swapping the East Coast for the West Coast next season after signing his National Letter of Intent to play at Loyola Marymount during the 2024-2025 season. 

Danos is in his first season at FSW after spending his first two collegiate seasons at the College of William and Mary where he played in 49 games as a redshirt freshman in 2023.  Danos hit .256 with 7 doubles and 25 RBIs, putting up a career best three hits against UNC Wilmington and driving in a career high five in a win over Norfolk State. 

Danos signs with LMU a season after the Lions won the West Coast Conference regular season title, going 21-6 in conference play. 

Danos is of 11 overall early signees for the Bucs this season joining Justin Thomas (Arkansas), Landon O'Donnell (Florida State), Jared Davis (Virginia Tech), Victor Figueroa and Isaac Upole (Pittsburgh), Alex Walsh (Oklahoma State),  Logan O'Leary (UNC-Charlotte), Reyn Watson & Nate Earley (Appalachian State), and Jahir Perez (Southeastern).
