High School: Castillo prepped at Lakeway Christian Academy where he was an All-State selection, hitting .563 with 9 home runs and 35 RBIs as a senior.  

Personal: Born January 12, 2005, he is the son of Luis Castillo and Kirsys Zabala.  He has one sister, Leslie (20).
