Hardie Signs With High Point

FORT MYERS, Fla.- After throwing 18 games out of the Florida SouthWestern bullpen during the 2023 season, sidewinder Henry Hardie has signed his National Letter of Intent at the Division I level, inking with High Point University.

The Bucs put Hardie to work in his only season in Fort Myers as the righthander saw action in 18 contests, going 2-1 with a 3.63 ERA.  He struck out 23 in 22 1/3 innings pitched while walking just 7 opposing batters.  He was solid down the stretch for the Bucs, going his final four appearances without allowing a run, including a season long 2 2/3 inning outing against eventual National Champions Central Florida in the FCSAA State Tournament.

Hardie joins a High Point program coming off of a 20-34 record during the 2023 season which included tilts against Wake Forest, Duke, Alabama, Virginia, and North Carolina among others.

Hardie joins fellow sophomores AJ Shaver (Troy), Tyler Kennedy (Texas State), and Marty Gair (Florida Gulf Coast) to sign at the Division I level off of FSW's 2023 squad.
