FORT MYERS, Fla.- The #8 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers ran away with their seventh straight win Saturday afternoon at City of Palms Park, putting it on the visiting Elev8 Academy to the tune of a 15-0 run rule shortened victory to improve to 32-12 on the season.

The game was never a contest as FSW scored two runs before their first out in the top of the 1st and went on to score eight times in the frame, highlighted by a pair of hits and three RBIs from Satchell Norman to give the Bucs an early 8-0 lead.

Neither team scored in the 2nd, but the Bucs were back on the offensive in the 3rd as Simon Baumer and Yadiel Santana banged back to back doubles and Paul Winland crushed a ball out to right for a two run shot in a seven run frame for FSW to open up a 15-0 lead.

The Bucs wouldn't get any more, but they didn't need it as Alejandro Valiente worked through five shutout frames before Riley Skeen closed it out with two scoreless innings to wrap up a 15-0 run rule win in seven for FSW.

All nine FSW starters scored a run as well as drove home a run, while eight of nine also collected in a hit in the win.  Norman led the way, going 3-4 with a double and four RBIs while Baumer and Winland were each 1-2 with an extra base hit and a pair of RBIs.  Valiente picked up his fourth win of the season on the mound, going five innings and allowing just two hits while striking out six before giving way to Skeen who struck out five of the eight hitters he faced in two shutout frames.

The Bucs win their seventh straight to improve to 32-12 on the season.

The Bucs will get a little bit stiffer test on Monday when they welcome the Southern Conference leading and 19th ranked Miami Dade Sharks to City of Palms Park for a non-conference contest slated for a 3 PM start.
