High School: Anello played at Calvary Christian Academy where he was a two time All-District selection.  He finished his high school career with 110 strikeouts in 83 innings pitched while posting a 2.36 ERA.  In 2021 his Calvary Christian team was ranked in the top 10 in the country as he pitched besides Phillies 1st Rounder Andrew Painter and Blue Jays 5th Round Pick Irv Carter.  

Personal: Born April 10, 2002, he is the son of Carl and Leeann Anello.  He has a sister, Brianna (24) and a brother, Joseph (20).
