CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Off last week because of Hurricane Milton, the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers remained the #2 team in the land on Monday, marking the 35th consecutive regular season poll FSW has been ranked either #1 or #2 in the NJCAA National Rankings.
FSW remained at #2 for the fourth straight week in the NJCAA National Poll on Monday. The Bucs currently sit at 14-1 overall with their only defeat coming to #1 Miami Dade in a five set thriller on the road earlier this year.
The week seven poll was a story of two halves as the Top 10 saw no change, while the bottom 10 saw a complete shakeup. Miami Dade remained #1 with FSW closely following behind in front of New Mexico Military, Northeastern, and Barton. Fellow Citrus Conference members Eastern Florida and Daytona State both climbed the ladder this week with Eastern climbing to #13 and Daytona up three spots to #16.
The Bucs have a challenging week in front of them this week with three long road trips on the docket including two against ranked foes. Monday FSW travels to Melbourne to take on #13 Eastern Florida before going up I-75 to Gainesville on Wednesday to battle Santa Fe. Saturday they wrap up the three game roadie with a date with 16th ranked Daytona on the First Coast.
