Record Setting Performance Nets Brandalise Third Setter of the Week Award

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.- Following a program record tying 60 assist game against #2 Miami Dade last week, Florida SouthWestern sophomore Camilla Brandalise has been named the FCSAA Setter of the Week for the third time this season as announced by the State Office on Tuesday.

Brandalise averaged 10.38 assists per set in two Bucs games last week.  Tuesday in a National Championship rematch against #2 Miami Dade, she tied an FSW single game record with 60 assists while leading the Bucs to a .309 team hitting mark against a stout Sharks defense. Saturday she had a more workman like effort, dishing out 22 helpers in a straight sets win over Santa Fe.

On the year Brandalise is averaging 9.28 assists per set which leads the FCSAA and ranks 6th Nationally.  She has 20 or more assists in all but two FSW contests and has now dished out 50 or more helpers on two different occasions.

The award is the third of the year for Brandalise.

Brandalise and the Bucs are back at it on Wednesday when they host #17 Daytona State in yet another NJCAA Top 25 matchup, scheduled to begin at 6 PM at Suncoast Credit Union Arena in Fort Myers.
