Bucs Headed to the Big Dance
CASPER, Wyo.- For the first time since 2020, the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers are headed back to the NJCAA National Tournament after the Bucs earned one of eight at-large bids announced by the NJCAA on Sunday.

The Bucs picked up their at-large bid and will head to Casper, Wyoming as the #12 seed, squaring off with the #21 seed Itawamba in the first round Wednesday, March 26th at 4:30 PM (ET). The winner will get a day off before taking on 5th seeded New Mexico in the second round Friday afternoon.

FSW enters the tournament with a 24-5 record after playing the 2nd hardest schedule in the country according to the Massey Ratings.  The Bucs defeated six Top 25 ranked opponents during the year and advanced to the FCSAA Championship Semifinals where they fell to eventual Champions Chipola.

The Bucs take on an Itawamba squad that goes to Casper on a nine game winning streak after winning the Region 23 Championship.  The Lady Indians head to the National Tournament for the first time since 2016 with a 25-5 record on the year.

Fans who are unable to make the trip West to cheer on the Bucs can connect with other FSW fans at their Official Watch Parties at Buckett's throughout the week.
