CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers will head into the NJCAA postseason ranked #12 as the final National Rankings of the 2024-2025 season were released on Monday with the Bucs in the top dozen teams in the country.
The Bucs won their lone game last week, getting revenge on Miami Dade for their only Citrus Conference loss of the season with a 74-60 victory. The win was the Bucs seventh straight as they improved to 22-4 on the year while heading into the regular season finale Monday with a 16-1 mark in conference action.
The weekly shuffle at the top of the rankings continued as Northwest Florida moved back into the top spot with Three Rivers, New Mexico, Chipola, and Wabash Valley behind them. The Bucs moved up one spot at the expense of Gulf Coast State who FSW handled in a lopsided battle earlier this season.
FSW closes the regular season tonight in Daytona Beach as they take on Daytona State looking to put a cherry on top of a Citrus Conference Championship winning season.
The Bucs will then turn their attention to the postseason where they will begin the FCSAA Tournament in Niceville on March 12th. Brackets for the eight team event will be released on Friday.
