CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers continued their climb back up the NJCAA National Polls on Monday, moving up one spot back to #13 where they spend time earlier this season.
FSW played just once last week, but an exciting one it was as the Bucs had a last second prayer answered on a buzzer beater by Samantha Serrano to win 66-65 over Hillsborough. The Bucs are now 19-4 overall and lead the Citrus Conference standings by two games in the loss column at 13-1 with four games left to go in the regular season.
After a few weeks of instability, the week 12 poll was mostly unchanged. The Top 11 stayed the same from a week ago with New Mexico, Northwest Florida, Chipola, Three Rivers, and Wabash Valley making up the top five. Casper was the lone newcomer to the poll.
FSW is back in action on Wednesday when they travel to St. Petersburg for a 5 PM tip against the Titans in Citrus Conference action.
