TALLAHASSEE, Fla.- Leading the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers to a thrilling 66-65 win over Hillsborough on Wednesday, FSW sophomore Asiana Britt has been named the FCSAA Player of the Week as announced by the State on Tuesday.
Britt tied a career high with 26 points against the Hawks Wednesday, going 9-16 from the field and 4-8 from three point land to lead the Bucs to the win. She filled up the stat sheet with 7 rebounds and 4 rebounds while also picking off a pair of steals in the victory.
She has started all 23 games for the Bucs this season, ranking second on the team averaging 12.8 points per game while leading FSW with 3.2 assists per contest.
Britt and the Bucs sit atop the Citrus Conference standings with a 13-1 mark while going 19-4 overall thus far.
FSW is back in action on the road Wednesday when they travel to St. Petersburg to take on the Titans in a 5 PM tip.
