Bucs Up One In Week 11 Poll

CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers moved up one spot in the week 11 NJCAA National Rankings on Monday, checking in at #14 with their 18-4 record.

The Bucs earned another big win last week, upending #19 Eastern Florida 65-58 on the road in Melbourne to take the reins of the Citrus Conference race. It was the Bucs sixth win of the season over a ranked opponent while improving their record to 18-4 overall.

The week 11 poll had some ripples but no major changes as the top four teams remained the same with New Mexico leading the way followed by a pair of FCSAA squads in Northwest Florida and Chipola and then Three Rivers following them at #4.  Coffeyville and Shelton State were this week's big winners as the Red Ravens moved up five spots to #17 and Shelton rose three spots to #6.

The Bucs have a pair of home matchups this week in Suncoast Arena beginning on Wednesday with a big date against Hillsborough in Citrus Conference play before stepping out of league play Saturday for a tilt with the Manta Rays of Florida State College at Jacksonville at 2.
