Corona begins her first season with the Bucs in 2024-2025. She joins the college coaching ranks after spending four seasons as a student-athlete at the University of Texas and another at the University of Texas-Arlington, compiling a .407 career average for the Longhorns and Mavericks. As a junior Corona hit an even .500 to help lead Texas to the Women’s College World Series Finals.  She played her graduate season at UTA where she put up big numbers for the Mavericks, hitting .417 in 45 games, earning 1^st Team All-WAC and All-WAC Defensive Team honors while also being named to the NFCA All-Region 3^rd Team. 

Corona began her coaching career while she was still a player, providing instruction to youth players from ages 6-18 for four years. This summer Corona was the Game Day Operations Manager for the Lone Star State Collegiate League where she led a crew of five to execute a 36 game per week schedule serving over 80 student-athletes from around the country.
