FORT MYERS, Fla.- Following a pair of All-Conference seasons and 113 wins in the Purple and Aqua, Florida SouthWestern sophomore Emily Allegood has signed at Campbell University to play for the Fighting Camels next season.
Allegood put up nearly identical numbers for the Bucs in each of her two seasons in Fort Myers, finishing her FSW career hitting .399 with 24 doubles, 10 triples and 8 home runs while driving in 81 runs. She was a 1st Team All-Conference selection in both seasons and was a 2nd Team All-FCSAA choice as a sophomore in 2025. While her pitching took a back seat to her offensive and defensive prowess this season, as a freshman in 2024 she logged 60 2/3 innings in the circle for the Bucs, going 7-1 while posting a 2.19 ERA.
Allegood led the Bucs to 113 wins during her Buccaneer career, picking up a pair of Citrus Conference Championships, an FCSAA Championship, and a 2nd and 7th place finish at the NJCAA World Series.
She will join a Campbell program coming off of four straight 35+ win campaigns including this season when they made a run to the CAA Championship Game and finished just one win short of returning to the NCAA Tournament for the second time in three seasons.
Allegood is one of two FSW sophomores to sign at the Division I level this season joining corner infield combo mate Virginia Mambelli who is headed to South Alabama.
