Five Bucs Named to All-FCSAA Squad

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.- With the FCSAA Championships right around the corner, five Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers have been named to the All-FCSAA Team released Monday by the State.

Three Bucs were tabbed 1st Team selections as Leah Meyer earned the honors in the circle while Virginia Mambelli and Skylar Brennan picked up nods on the infield and outfield respectively.

Meyer ranked in the Top 10 in the state in all three Triple Crown categories this season.  Her 17 wins were tied for 5th most while her 1.72 ERA was 7th best and her 106 strikeouts on the year ranked 9th. She pitched in 27 games for the Bucs, 26 of those starts, while going 17-1 with 14 complete games on the year.

Mambelli put together stellar numbers for the Bucs in the middle of their order this season, ranking in the Top 15 in the state in batting average at .399, RBIs with 50, and doubles with 15. She reached base at a .503 clip and posted an 1.184 OPS in 54 regular season contests.

Brennan slugged her way to 1st Team honors, finishing 6th in the state in batting average at .429 while scoring 63 runs which was 2nd most of any FCSAA player in 2025. She also banged 17 doubles which ranked in the Top 10 in the state while adding 6 home runs and 36 RBIs.

Picking up 2nd Team honors in the outfield was freshman Noelani Livingstone.  Livingstone finished 2nd in the state with a .439 batting average while collecting 75 hits in 54 contests and also stealing 30 bases which was 9th most of any player in the FCSAA this season.

Joining Livingstone on the 2nd Team was righthander Lizzy Kwakernaak.  Kwakernaak ranked in the Top 10 in the state in both wins with 13 and ERA at 1.77 this season.  She racked up 81 strikeouts in 79 innings pitched over 19 games as a freshman.

FSW now centers their focus on the FCSAA Championships which begin on Wednesday in Clearwater.  The Bucs will begin their push for a title on Wednesday when they take on the winner of the Miami Dade/Gulf Coast Wild Card Game in a 4 PM start from Eddie C. Moore Complex.
