Beep Beep! Jensen Signs With Roadrunners
FORT MYERS, Fla.- Florida SouthWestern sophomore will trade the digs of South Florida for South Texas next season after signing her National Letter of Intent to play at the University of Texas at San Antonio earlier this week.  
 
Jensen was a two time 1st Team All-Conference and 1st Team All-State selection for the Bucs, leading FSW to back to back NJCAA National Championships in 2021 and 2022.  She played in 116 games over the past three seasons, finishing her career with a .410 batting average, 26 doubles, 20 home runs, and 118 RBIs, each ranking in the top 10 in program history. Equally as impressive behind the plate, Jensen posted a career .987 fielding percentage while throwing out a program record 21 would be base runners.  
 
Jensen heads to the Alamo City to play for UTSA after the Roadrunners were 18-30 overall and 11-12 in Conference USA action this season.
 
In Jensen's three seasons at FSW, the Bucs were 128-12 overall and a perfect 39-0 in Suncoast Conference play while winning back to back NJCAA National Championships. 
 
Jensen is the third Division I signee and fifth Buc overall to sign at the four year level this season joining Baylee Haggard & McKenzie Wittenberg (Florida Gulf Coast), Charlotte Drijvers (Barry), and Sterre den Duijn (Lincoln Memorial).
