Douglas To Join Trojans of Little Rock

FORT MYERS, Fla.- Florida SouthWestern State All-State guard Bradley Douglas is set to join the Trojans after signing with the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, becoming the fourth Buccaneer sophomore to sign at the Division I level this season.

When Douglas packs up and heads to the Natural State, he will need an extra suitcase for all of his awards he earned during his NJCAA career as he is a three time 1st Team All-Conference, two time 1st Team All-State, and 2022 NJCAA All-American selection.  In his lone season in Fort Myers he averaged 14 points per game and shot 46% from the field for the Bucs, earning 1st Team All-Southern Conference and 1st Team All-State accolades. He scored in double figures 18 times as a third year sophomore including 11 straight to open the season. He put up a career high 32 in a thrilling 91-89 victory over Indian River to kick off Southern Conference play in January. Douglas transfers to Little Rock already a 1,000 point scorer, having poured in 1,120 points during his junior college career.

Douglas will play for Little Rock Head Coach Darrell Walker who spent 10 years as a coach in the NBA.  The Trojans are looking to bounce back from a 10-21 campaign in 2022-2023 that saw them go 6-12 in Ohio Valley Conference action.

Douglas is the fourth FSW sophomore to sign at the Division I level this season, joining teammates Jadrian Tracey (Oregon), Tyson Brown (Rhode Island), and Allen Udemadu (Morgan State), and is the 10th Buc to move onto the Division I level in the past two seasons.
