Tracey Nets National Player of the Week Honors

CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The awards keep piling in for Florida SouthWestern guard Jadrian Tracey as a day after he was named the FCSAA Player of the Week for the second straight week, the sophomore was named the NJCAA National Player of the Week, the Bucs first recipient of the award since Tremell Murphy in 2018.

Tracey averaged 28.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game for the Bucs in a pair of key Southern Conference wins last week.  He shot 65% from both the field and from the three point line on the week.  Monday he notched a 23 point, 11 rebound double-double in a big road win for FSW at Miami Dade before backing that up with a career high 34 point effort in a win over State College of Florida on Thursday.

Tracey is averaging 14.1 points and 5.8 rebounds per game on the season but has been on fire the past three weeks, putting up 24.8 points and 8.6 rebounds per game in the Bucs past six contests while shooting 69% from the field and an eye popping 66% from three point land.

Tracey and the Bucs have aligned themselves in prime position to punch their ticket for the postseason in recent weeks as a win in Saturday's 4 PM regular season finale against Hillsborough at home in Suncoast Credit Union Arena would do just that.
