High Flying Cleary Signs With Cardinals
FORT MYERS, Fla.- Following an All-Conference campaign with the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers, sophomore Kaiyem Cleary has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Ball State Cardinals next season. 
 
Cleary played in 29 games, starting nine for the Bucs this season, finishing second on the team with 11.6 points per game while also chipping in 4.9 rebounds and a block per night. He scored in double figures 18 times this season including in his first seven games of the year, torching the nets for a career high 27 on 9-11 from the field and 7-9 from three against Spartanburg Methodist.  He came up big in the clutch as well for the Bucs, averaging nearly 16 points per game and scoring in double figures in all three career playoff games.  
 
Cleary will join a Ball State squad coming off of a 14-17 campaign which saw them reach the MAC Tournament where they fell to Ohio.  
 
Cleary is one of five Bucs to sign at the Division I level this season joining Jonathan Dos Anjos (UTEP), Justin Archer (Radford), Bryant Selebangue (Tulsa), and Rhyjon Blackwell (McNeese State).
