FORT MYERS, Fla.- All eight players scored in double figures and three notched double-doubles as the #18 Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers cooked the 212° Academy 125-52 Tuesday night in their non-conference finale in Suncoast Credit Union Arena.

It wasn't pretty early on between the Bucs and 212°as it took nearly four minutes before the first field goal for either side found the bottom of the net.  Once FSW did get one to fall, they started rolling, scoring 22 straight to take a 23-1 lead eight minutes in on the prep school.  212° finally got their first field goal with 11:23 in the half, but the damage was done as Kaiyem Cleary drilled a three to push the Bucs lead to 26-3 and later on Marcus Niblack and Klein Alexandre popped triples to stretch the lead to 38-10 with 6:54 to go in the period.  A hustle play and steal from Aahmod Scarbrough led to a breakaway dunk for Cleary on the other end to give the Bucs 50 with 2:02 left in the half and FSW put four more on the board to take a 54-16 lead into the half at the break.

It was more of the same as the second half began as after a pair of early free throws from 212°, the Bucs scored 20 of the next 22 points to blow the game wide open to 74-20 with 14:40 to go.  The Bucs took their first 60 point lead on a bucket from Cameron Stitt with just under 12:00 to go and FSW hit the century mark with 8:44 remaining when Jordan Mitchell knifed the lane and scored to make it 100-34 Bucs.  Jonathan Dos Anjos grabbed a rebound and pushed the ball up the floor, turning into a dunk for Bryant Selebangue on the other end to put the Bucs up 70 late and FSW held 212° without a point for the final 3:55 to finish off a 125-52 win to send the home crowd home happy.

FSW shot 66% from the field on the night and hit on 21 of 36 three pointers, good for a 58% clip. All eight dressed players scored in double figures led by Cleary with 20 and Alexandre with 19.  Three different Bucs registered double-doubles in the win as Niblack went for 19 points and 10 assists, Mitchell had 15 points and 13 assists, and Selebangue notched his 10th double-double of the year with 15 points and 10 rebounds.

The Bucs win their eighth straight to improve to 13-2 on the year while 212° is sent back to the drawing boards after back to back blowout losses to FSW the past two seasons.

FSW now turns their attention to Southern Conference play where they will kick off league action on Saturday at home against Hillsborough in a 4 PM tip from Suncoast Credit Union Arena.
