Seven in Double Figures as #22 FSW Rolls Past Blue Wave

MELBOURNE, Fla.- Seven players scored in double figures and Jordan Mitchell posted a 10 point, 11 assist double-double as the #22 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers cruised past the Blue Wave of FSCJ 99-68 Saturday at the Florida Juco Shootout in Melbourne.  
 
For the second straight day, the Bucs got off to a good start to begin the game, outscoring the Blue Wave 13-2 through the first 3:30 of the contest to gain the early advantage.  They continue to push, eventually taking a 48-33 lead as the teams hit the half.  
 
In the second it was more of the same as FSW was firing at FSCJ from all angels, extending upon their lead before finishing off a 99-68 win to sweep their weekend at the Florida Juco Shootout. 
 
Seven Bucs scored in double figures in the win including Kaiyem Cleary who led the way with 15 and Jordan Mitchell who went for 10 points and 11 assists in the victory for FSW. 
 
The Bucs improve to 4-1 on the year with the win while FSCJ remains winless at 0-3. 
 
The Bucs are back in action on Friday in Suncoast Arena at 7 when they host Snow from Utah in the second game of the Turkey Day Classic in Fort Myers.
