Bucs Win Grinder Over Tallahassee at Juco Shootout

MELBOURNE, Fla.- The #22 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers outlasted the Tallahassee Eagles 61-55 in a grinding affair Friday in the Florida Juco Shootout in Melbourne. 
 
The Bucs got off to a good start from the tip as Kaiyem Cleary finished a four point play to get them going on their first possession of the day and FSW led most of the first half before taking a 36-34 lead into the half at the break. 
 
The second half was a defensive affair as the two teams combined for just 46 points with the Bucs holding on late for a 61-55 victory. 
 
The Bucs improve to 3-1 on the season with the victory while Tallahassee falls to 1-2. 
 
FSW will be back in action on the Space Coast Saturday afternoon as they take on Florida State College at Jacksonville in a 2:30 tip from Melbourne.
