Bucs First Round Match at National Tournament Canceled, FSW Advances to Quarterfinals
WEST PLAINS, Mo.- The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers first NJCAA National Tournament match in program history ended before it even began on Tuesday as due to a positive Covid-19 test inside of the Navarro program, the match, scheduled for 9:00 AM Thursday, has been canceled. The match, which will be counted as a no-contest, will send FSW to the quarterfinal round where they advance to play the winner of the Snow/Barton game Thursday night at 6:00 (CT).

The Bucs got the news of the cancelation just after boarding their flight to the Show Me State.  While FSW advances to the quarterfinals with the cancelation, Head Coach Thais Baziquetto-Allen said she and her players were disappointed by the news saying "we were excited to have the opportunity to play against a great team and program like Navarro and just feel terrible for them that their season had to come to an end like that.  We hope that everyone effected gets healthy quickly and that we have the opportunity to compete with them again next season."
