Tondi Signs at VCU

FORT MYERS, Fla.- Florida SouthWestern's two time All-Conference guard Natalia Tondi is headed to the Division I level next season after signing her National Letter of Intent to play at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Tondi started all 56 games for the Bucs the past two seasons, topping 2nd Team All-Conference honors as a freshman with 1st Team All-Conference accolades as a sophomore in 2022-2023.  She put up 10.4 points and 2.5 assists per game this season for FSW, finishing her career 4th in program history with 83 made three pointers. She had her best career game in FSW's 71-65 upset win over #9 Gulf Coast State at the FCSAA State Tournament this season, dropping a career high 25 points on 10-17 shooting and 3-6 from deep to earn All-Tournament Team honors. 

Tondi joins a VCU program coming off of a 7-22 campaign that saw them go 4-12 in Atlantic 10 Conference action.

Tondi is one of four FSW sophomores to sign at the next level off of this year's team, joining Macarena Retamales (Florida Gulf Coast), Shaniya Rose (USC-Beaufort), and Aaliyah Williams (Barry).
