Williams to Remain a Buc at Barry

FORT MYERS, Fla.- Florida SouthWestern sophomore Aaliyah Williams will remain a Buccaneer next season, but it will be with slightly different colors on as FSW's All-Conference guard has signed to play at Barry University next season in Miami.

Williams was a 1st Team All-Conference selection for the Bucs this season, putting up 14.2 points per game while shooting 51% from the field.  A constant on the offensive end for the Bucs this season, Williams scored in double figures on 19 occasions including topping the 20 point mark eight times.  She poured in 599 points in her two seasons in Fort Myers, shooting just over 50% from the field which ranks 5th best in program history.

Williams will join a Barry squad coming off of a 14-15 season in which they qualified for the Sunshine State Conference Tournament with a 9-11 league mark. 

Williams is the fourth FSW sophomore to sign off of this year's team, joining Macarena Retamales (Florida Gulf Coast), Natalia Tondi (Virginia Commonwealth), and Shaniya Rose (South Carolina-Beaufort).
