CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Florida SouthWestern sophomore Macarena Retamales capped her outstanding career with the Buccaneers on Tuesday by being named an Honorable Mention NJCAA All-American as announced by the NJCAA National Office.  

 

Retamales put up the best scoring numbers of her three year FSW career this season, scoring 16.6 points per game while dishing out 3.4 assists per game and pulling down 4.7 rebounds a night. She scored in double figures in 25 of 29 FSW games this season, topping the 20 point mark 11 times. She will remain in Fort Myers next season where she will play at Florida Gulf Coast University.
