FSW Up One in National Poll
CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers crept up one spot in the NJCAA National Rankings Monday, winning their only game of the week to move to #17 as the 2022 season begins to wind down.

The Bucs defended their home court 82-70 against Hillsborough Saturday in Suncoast Credit Union Arena, winning their 20th game in 24 chances in the process, while clinching at least a share of their fifth straight conference championship.

The top five in the poll remained set with Three Rivers leading the way, Shelton State, Georgia Highlands, Western Nebraska, and Wabash Valley filling in behind them.  The bottom half of the poll had lots of movement in week 13 with Eastern Oklahoma and Eastern Arizona taking five and six spot tumbles to #19 and #25 respectively while Blinn and Hutchinson were the biggest jumpers, moving up five spots each to #18 and #20. Five Florida squads were spread out around the poll with Northwest Florida at #6, Chipola at #12, Eastern Florida at #16, FSW at #17, and Pensacola State at #24.

The Bucs wrap up the regular season this week, traveling to Fort Pierce to take on Indian River Wednesday before returning home to battle Miami Dade Saturday on Sophomore Day in Suncoast Arena.
