FORT MYERS, Fla.- Florida SouthWestern State sophomore guard Za'Nautica Downs collected yet another award this week as she was named a 2020 World Exposure Second Team All-American as announced by the organization.  
 
Downs  28 and played in all 31 games for the Buccaneers this year, leading them to a 24-7 record and a top 15 national ranking throughout the 2019-2020 season.  She led the Bucs, averaging 18.7 points per game, shooting 37% from the three point line and 84% from the charity stripe this season.  When she wasn't scoring, Downs was helping her teammates get easy baskets, finishing with 2.3 assists per game which ranked second on the team and also picked off 2.2 steals per contest which was the second most of an Buc.    
 
While leading FSW to their second straight Suncoast Conference Championship this season, Downs adds the Second Team All-American honor to already having been named the Suncoast Conference Player of the Year, FCSAA All-State, First Team All-Suncoast Conference, as well as collecting FCSAA and NJCAA National Player of the Week awards during the season. 
 
The World Exposure All-American teams were an exclusive group, with just five players each named to the First, Second, and Third teams.  Downs was one of five players from Florida named to the three teams with three more being named Honorable Mention All-Americans.
