Moore Headed Home to the Garden State, Signs With Georgian Court

FORT MYERS, Fla.- Two years in the fun and sun of Florida was enough for Florida SouthWestern slugger Ella Moore as she has signed to return home to New Jersey where she will play at Georgian Court University next season.

Moore has had a breakout year for the Bucs as a sophomore this season, hitting .342 with five doubles, two home runs, and 33 RBIs on the year.  She has nine multi-hit games on the season including a 2-3 effort against Northwest Shoals with a pair of triples and three RBIs and a 2-2 game with a home run and three RBIs in a 14-2 win over #4 Indian River.

In two seasons with the Bucs Moore has helped FSW to a 106-11 overall record, a pair of Conference Championships, an FCSAA State Championship in 2023, and an NJCAA National Championship last season as a freshman.

She will join a Georgian Court team who just finished a 20-25 campaign in 2024 with a 12-10 record in CACC action, good for a 6th place finish.

Moore is one of six Bucs inked to head to the next level in 2024-2025, joining teammates Sydney McCray (Grand Canyon), Lea Chevrier (Miami-Ohio), Sietske Drijvers (Mercer), Esmee Ames (Troy), and Jenna Teakert (Eastern Illinois).
