CHARLOTTE, N.C.- For the third straight week, the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers checked in at #3 in the NJCAA National Rankings released by the National Office on Monday.

The Bucs went 3-1 last week to move to 22-2 overall on the year. Thursday they battled it out with #4 Indian River, splitting a doubleheader with the Pioneers, dropping a 1-0 extra innings decision in game one before blowing them out in game two 14-2 in a five inning run rule win.

The top of the week three poll remained mostly untouched with McLennan, Northwest Florida, FSW, and Indian River remaining in the top four spots with Temple the lone newcomer to the top five. The FCSAA continued to dominate the rankings with three of the top four, four of the top six, five of the top 10, and eight of the Top 20 teams in the poll.

FSW is back in action Tuesday at home when they host State College of Florida in a Citrus Conference doubleheader beginning at 2 PM.
