Bucs Rained Out On Opening Day of World Series
OXFORD, Ala.- After multiple attempts to fit it into a revised opening day schedule, the Florida SouthWestern/Gaston opening round game at the 2023 NJCAA Division I World Series has been postponed to Wednesday due to continued rain and wet field conditions in the Oxford area.

The Bucs and Rhinos were scheduled to square off in the final game of the day on Tuesday in the opening round, but rain overnight and through the morning pushed the tournament start time back four hours, putting FSW's first pitch back to a 9 PM (ET) start. With the inopportune rain non-relenting through the morning, the decision was made to try to play just four of the eight first round games on Tuesday night, with the Bucs and Rhinos matchup being pushed back to a 3 PM (ET) start on Wednesday.

If the new schedule holds, the Bucs would play again at 7 PM (ET) Wednesday regardless of the outcome of their first game against Gaston.

Stay tuned to @FSWBucs on social media for further schedule updates prior to Wednesday's game.
