CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Winners of 22 game in a row, the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers remained the #2 team in the latest NJCAA National Rankings released Monday by the National Office.  

 

FSW was a perfect 4-0 in their final four Suncoast Conference games of the season last week, completing their second straight undefeated conference season to improve to 45-4 on the year. Three of the four games were shortened due to the run rule with the Bucs outscoring their opponents 40-10. 

 

The Top 5 remained unchanged in week nine with Yavapai continuing to put up ridiculous offensive numbers to remain at #1 with FSW following in behind at #2, Wallace State at #3, Seminole State at #4, and Odessa at #5.  The Bucs were one of four FCSAA squads in the poll with Pensacola checking in at #11, Chipola at #14, and Northwest Florida at #16.  

 

The Bucs have four non-conference games later this week to wrap up the 2022 regular season starting on Thursday when they go to Melbourne to take on Eastern Florida before finishing things up Saturday on the road against Miami Dade.
