Big Weekend Keeps Bucs at #3 in National Poll
CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Florida SouthWestern State Softball held steady in the NJCAA National Poll this week, checking in at #3 for the third straight week with their 16-1 record to start the 2020 season.

The Bucs moved to 16-1 on the year after a 6-0 week that included a win over defending National Champions Chipola on Sunday in Sanford.  FSW has been dominant in their current 12 game winning streak, outscoring their opposition 135-19.

The top four teams in the poll remained the same for the third straight week as Seminole State continued to hold down the #1 spot with Central Florida, FSW, and Tyler following in behind. Arizona Western joined the group this week in the top five at #5.  Other FCSAA teams in the poll include Chipola at #6, Indian River at #8, and Seminole State at #13, along with Pensacola receiving votes.

The Bucs have a big matchup ahead of them on Friday at City of Palms Park when #2 Central Florida comes to town for a 2 PM doubleheader, but first FSW will host ASA Miami in a twinbill on Wednesday beginning at 4 PM.
