LOUISVILLE, KY.- Just days after the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers had four players named to the NFCA South All-Region team, the same four Bucs were tabbed All-American's by the organization in a release on Friday.  Kelsi Collins, Rebeca Laudino, and Paris Woods were all named First Team All-American selections while Owen Bowers was a Second Team All-American choice.

A program record three players were named to the First Team for the Bucs.

Collins continues to pile up 2019 awards that now includes an All-American nod to go along with Suncoast Conference and FCSAA Pitcher of the Year as well as First Team All-Conference and All-State honors.  She posted the second lowest ERA in the country this season at 1.15 to go along with a 25-1 record and 187 strikeouts on the year.  Collins started a team best 31 games for the Bucs and also led FSW in shutouts on the year with seven.

Woods did it all for the Bucs this season, leading to First Team All-Conference, First Team All-State, and now First Team All-American honors.  She started all 57 games for FSW, hitting .406 with 13 doubles and 49 RBI's while also stealing 30 bases on the year.  She was one of just five players in the state of Florida this season to record both 30 or more stolen bases and 45 or more RBI's on the year.

Bowers ranked among the NJCAA leaders in a number of power categories this season, hitting .410 with 18 doubles, 17 home runs, and 79 RBI's on the year.  She slugged .889 and put together an out of this world 1.389 OPS during her freshman campaign which was tops among FCSAA rookies.
