Bucs Remain #1 in National Poll

CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers continued their reign atop the NJCAA National Poll on Tuesday as they were ranked #1 in the country for the eighth straight week as announced by the national office.

Nothing was changed in the top six this week as FSW remained #1 with Seminole State (Ok), Chipola, Central Florida, Tyler, and Wallace-Dothan following in behind. The Bucs FCSAA Tournament first round opponent, Seminole State checked in at #17 and Suncoast Conference foe State College of Florida at #20 to give the Sunshine State three of the top four, and five total teams in the rankings.

FSW is 52-1 overall on the year and has won 19 in a row as the regular season comes to a close.  They collected their fourth straight Suncoast Conference Championship with a win over South Florida State on Tuesday and in doing so, will be the #1 seed out of the conference for the upcoming FCSAA Tournament.

The Bucs will play a couple of tune-up games before heading to Sanford for the tournament as they take on the Canadian National Team Wednesday in an exhibition at 3 PM at City of Palms Park in Fort Myers before traveling to Warner University next Monday for a doubleheader with the Royals
