FSW Climbs to #14 in National Poll
CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Following a big road win at #2 Indian River Wednesday, the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers jumped up three spots in the final NJCAA National Rankings Tuesday, climbing to #14 to close out the regular season.

The Bucs were 2-0 last week to improve to 21-5 on the year with a pair of matching 75-66 wins.  Wednesday they earned a win over their highest ranked opponent in program history when they took down #2 Indian River and followed that up with a home win over Miami Dade on Sophomore Day in Suncoast Arena.

The Bucs were one of four FCSAA teams in the Top 15 this week, joined by #2 Indian River, #7 Chipola, and #11 Northwest Florida.  Salt Lake and Indian River remained the top two teams despite losses last week and were joined in the Top 5 by Kilgore, Dodge City, John A. Logan.

FSW is back in action tonight when they travel to Bradenton to take on State College of Florida in their Southern Conference finale before wrapping up the regular season with a matchup against Pasco-Hernando at home Thursday on Fan Appreciation Night with attendance free for all fans.
