Bucs Land Five on All-Conference Squad
FORT MYERS, Fla.- As has become the norm, the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers were once again well represented on their league's All-Conference team, netting five overall selections and four first team picks in their first season in the Southern Conference this year.

Leading the pack for the Bucs was sophomore Terry Roberts, who earns his second straight trip on the All-Conference team, bumping up from 2nd Team as a freshman to a 1st Team selection this season as a sophomore.  Roberts averaged 15.3 points per game in conference play, ranking 4th in the league, while dishing out 6.2 assists which was second best and picking off 2.8 steals per game which was best in the Southern Conference.  He scored in double figures in 10 of 12 conference contests and topped the 20 point mark four times.

In his only season in Fort Myers, Jonathan Dos Anjos also earned 1st Team All-Conference accolades. Dos Anjos turned it on at the end of the season, averaging 13.7 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game in conference play, all an uptick in production from his non-conference action this season.  He scored in double figures in each of the Bucs final four conference games, posting a pair of double-doubles and averaging over 17 points and 10 rebounds per game.

The third FSW sophomore to earn 1st Team All-Southern Conference honors was Jaden Campbell.  Campbell turned it on during his second season with the Bucs, going from an 8.3 minute per game player as a rookie to a 13.4 point per game scorer this season.  He tied with Roberts and Oquendo for 4th in the league in scoring in conference play, averaging 15.3 points per game while shooting  51% from the field. He scored in double figures 10 times in league play and topped the 20 point mark three times.

One of just three freshman to earn 1st Team All-Conference honors, Kario Oquendo, like Roberts, and Campbell, dropped in 15.3 points per game during conference play, ranking 4th in the Southern Conference.  He shot an efficient 57% from the field and 51% from three point land during league play, making him one of just two players to average more than 15 points per game and shoot 50% from both the field and three in conference play.  He had nine games of 10 or more points in conference play including a career high 31 in the Bucs win over Indian River early in the season.

The Bucs lone 2nd Team selection was sophomore guard CJ Lane.  Lane, like Campbell, burst onto the scene for FSW during his sophomore season, tripling his production from a 3.1 point per game scorer as a rookie to nearly a 10 point per game scorer this season. He was even better in conference play, scoring 11 points per game while nailing 29 three pointers at a 41% clip in league action this season.  He topped the 10 point mark eight times in conference play, putting up a career best 21 against Miami Dade on 8 of 12 shooting.

The Bucs have been slotted as the #3 seed for the upcoming FCSAA State Tournament in Niceville and will take on conference rival State College of Florida in the first round of the tournament beginning on April 8th.
