FSW Rises to #2 in National Poll

CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Off to a 7-0 start to their 2019-2020 campaign, the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers have moved into the #2 spot in the NJCAA Top 25 as announced by the National Office on Monday.

The Bucs remained unbeaten this weekend, bringing a pair of wins home from Georgia where they competed in the Pete Arrington Classic.  FSW's early season resume features a pair of solid early season victories including wins over, then #5, Eastern Florida State, as well as Triton, a 30 win team from a season ago.

Drawing the top spot this week in front of FSW was 2019 National Runner-Up Ranger, who like the Bucs are off to a 7-0 start to the year.  Indian Hills checks in at #3 followed by Hutchinson at #4, and Chipola at #5.  As usual, the FCSAA dominated the rankings with the Bucs at #2, Chipola at #5, Tallahassee at #8, and Northwest Florida State at #18, with four other schools receiving votes towards the poll this week.

FSW is back in action this weekend at home when they take on preseason #20 Snow on Friday night at 7:30 followed by a date with Denmark Tech at 3 PM on Saturday.
