Manning Jr. Named to FCSAA All-State Team

TALLAHASSEE, FLA.- After dominating the competition in the Sunshine State this season, Florida SouthWestern State guard Charles Manning Jr. has been named First Team All-State as announced by the league this week. 

Manning Jr. has led the Bucs to a 29-2 overall record this season including a perfect 12-0 mark in Suncoast Conference play to lead FSW to a championship.  He averaged 16.6 points per game this season for FSW which ranked 17th in Florida, but looking deeper, Manning Jr played less minutes per game than any other player in the top 20.  Efficient, Manning Jr. is shooting 49% from the field, 37% from the three point line, and 72% from the free throw line this season.  His 4.9 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.1 assists all ranked on the top three on the team. 

Manning Jr. and FSW open play at the NJCAA National Tournament on Wednesday where they will take on the winner of the Indian Hills/Central Georgia Tech game at 3 PM EST in Hutchinson, Kansas.
