Rios Taken By Baltimore Orioles In MLB Draft
June 11, 2016Sophomore left-hander Willie Rios was selected by the Baltimore Orioles in the 16th round of the 2016 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft with the 481st overall pick on Saturday afternoon. He becomes the first current Buccaneer chosen in the 2016 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft and the 27th player in program history (including Edison Community College) to be drafted to the MLB.

Baseball’s Ford, Piekos And Platt Sign NLI’s With NCAA Division I Schools
June 03, 2016Florida SouthWestern State College sophomores Max Ford, Jack Piekos and Hayden Platt have signed National Letters of Intent to play at NCAA Division I institutions and will compete for their schools for the 2016-17 academic year. Ford and Piekos will continue their careers at Eastern Kentucky, while Platt will play at Elon.
