Sophomore left-hander Willie Rios was selected by the Baltimore Orioles in the 16th round of the 2016 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft with the 481st overall pick on Saturday afternoon. He becomes the first current Buccaneer chosen in the 2016 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft and the 27th player in program history (including Edison Community College) to be drafted to the MLB.
