Amber Howell Joins FSW Women’s Basketball Staff
June 23, 2017Head Coach Kristie Ward has announced the addition of Amber Howell to the FSW women’s basketball staff as an assistant coach. Howell replaces Stephanie Edwards, who took the same position at her alma mater Jacksonville University. -
AUM Bound | Liles Signs With Auburn University At Montgomery
May 09, 2017FSW women’s basketball forward Makayla Liles has signed her National Letter of Intent and is heading home to Alabama to continue her collegiate career at NCAA Division II Auburn University at Montgomery.

March 13, 2017The Florida SouthWestern State College women’s basketball team saw four student-athletes receive postseason accolades. FSW was represented on the Southern Conference’s First Team by Erna Normil, LaToya Ashman and Amanda Oliver. The Purple and Aqua also garnered one Second Team selection as Dajsha Hall received postseason accolades.

March 08, 2017The FSW women's basketball team jumped out to an early 10-4 lead but the sophomore loaded No. 5 Chipola squad proved to be too much for the young Buccaneers, defeating FSW, 66-36, in the quarterfinal round of the the FCSAA/NJCAA District VIII Championship at College of Central Florida on Wednesday afternoon.
