FORT MYERS, Fla.- Florida SouthWestern middle hitter Christina Pratcher has found her home for the final two years of her Volleyball and academic career as the Bucs National Champ will be headed to the Tar Heel State where she will play at Fayetteville State University. 

Pratcher played in 11 matches for the Bucs this season after transferring to FSW from USC-Upstate where she spent her freshman campaign.  She finished with 18 kills and 25 blocks on the season, her 1.09 blocks per set ranking second on the team.  She notched five or more blocks in three different matches this season including a pair of six block games in FSW wins in Las Vegas over Southern Nevada and Seward County. 

Pratcher and the Bucs finished a magical 2022 campaign 27-1 overall, spending nearly the entire season as the #1 ranked squad in the country while picking up Suncoast Conference, FCSAA State, and finally an NJCAA National Championship in the process. 

She will join a Fayetteville State squad that won a CIAA Southern Division Championship a season ago, going 16-10 overall and 14-2 in conference action. 

Pratcher is the sixth FSW sophomore to sign at the next level, joining Julia Lawrenz (Hawaii), Barbara Koehler (Wichita State), Arianna Rossi (Southern Utah), Maiana Coelho (Missouri Baptist), and Maria Cecilia (Lynn).
