Bucs Close Out 2023 With Hard Fought Win

FORT PIERCE, Fla.- The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers closed out 2023 with a win on Friday afternoon in Fort Pierce, grinding out a 48-42 win over Bishop State to improve to 6-5 on the year.  
 
The Bucs offense was balanced in the victory as Makenna Shaffer led the way with 12 points while Kiana Wilson had 11 and Sarah Owona added 8.  
 
No other information or statistics was available at the time of release.  
 
The Bucs improve to 6-5 on the year with the win while Bishop State falls to 8-5.  
 
FSW is back in action at home next Wednesday when they host Hillsborough in a Citrus Conference make up game that was originally scheduled for December 16th.  Season ticket holders can use their tickets from the originally scheduled game or tickets for the FSW men's game that night for entrance into the contest.
